Dynamo.kiev.ua reports, citing The Telegraph, that Premier League clubs do not agree on how Manchester City should be sanctioned for financial breaches.
The report says an independent Premier League commission found City responsible for financial breaches and is due to decide on sanctions after hearing recommendations from league officials and the other 19 top-flight clubs.
Among the options reportedly discussed are expulsion from the league and a 200-point deduction spread across several seasons. Other clubs are said to fear that severe sanctions could hurt league-wide revenues and complicate City’s transfer-payment obligations.
The report also describes concern that expelling City could revive proposals for a European Super League.
