Existing Google Analytics 4
MatchTide uses Google Analytics 4 to measure use of the service and improve it. This page controls how Google Analytics operates on this device.
Limited analytics
Cookieless measurement where legally permitted.
In the United Kingdom, limited analytics may run before you make a choice. Analytics storage remains denied, analytics cookies are not read or written, advertising-related consent remains denied and only allowlisted, sanitised public page-use measurement is sent for aggregate statistics and service improvement.
Google may still receive technical information as part of a cookieless network request. Limited analytics is not the same as no data being sent.
In regions configured to require prior consent, MatchTide blocks the Google tag until you allow analytics cookies.
Allow analytics cookies
Optional — requires consent.
If enabled, Google Analytics may set first-party analytics cookies and measure sessions and allowlisted interactions in more detail. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied.
MatchTide does not intentionally send email addresses, names, nicknames, comment text, support messages, raw search text, passwords, account identifiers, legal/privacy case data or notification subscriptions to Google Analytics.
Analytics off
No future Google Analytics requests from MatchTide after the choice is applied.
When analytics is turned off, MatchTide stores the objection in an essential preference record, blocks the Google tag on later page loads and stops future analytics events. MatchTide also attempts to remove MatchTide-domain Google Analytics cookies.
Advertising
Not used.
MatchTide does not currently use Google Ads measurement, remarketing, personalised advertising, Google Signals, enhanced conversions, advertising cookies or affiliate conversion tracking. Advertising cannot be activated by reusing your analytics choice.
Your current choice
MatchTide uses essential storage to keep the service secure and remember your settings. Before you choose, limited cookieless analytics may measure page use in aggregate where the law permits, without setting analytics or advertising cookies. You can allow full analytics, continue with limited analytics or turn analytics off.
You can change this choice at any time. A material change to analytics or advertising may require MatchTide to ask again.
Account data
Following teams or matches, comments, in-site alerts and account preferences are account features, not Google Analytics choices. Manage them in account settings or request account export/deletion through the privacy tools.
