1. Main football-data source
MatchTide obtains a substantial part of its football information through API-Football/API-Sports and processes that information into public pages, schedules, live states, results, tables, statistics, team and player profiles, alerts and related features.
Depending on competition coverage, this may include countries, competitions, seasons, teams, venues, players, coaches, fixtures, live status, scores, events, line-ups, standings, statistics, injuries, head-to-head information, predictions and odds-related data.
MatchTide may also create derived information, normalise names, calculate page states, combine records, generate summaries and add original editorial material.
2. Provider terms and publication rights
API-Football provides access to data for use in projects such as websites and applications and prohibits direct resale of its data. Its terms also state that it does not grant a publication licence for all sports data and that some data may be subject to rights or commercial restrictions imposed by leagues, federations, event organisers or other rightsholders.
An API subscription is therefore not represented as ownership of the underlying football facts, databases, competition rights, images or trade marks. MatchTide must review and obtain any additional permission that is legally required for a particular use.
3. Visual assets and trade marks
Competition logos, team crests, player and coach photographs, venue images, flags and other visual assets may be supplied through API-Football/API-Sports or another recorded source.
API-Football states that these visual assets are supplied for identification and descriptive purposes, that it does not claim ownership of them and that additional authorisation may be required. Rights remain with their respective owners.
MatchTide uses such assets to identify football entities and does not claim ownership or official endorsement. A logo, crest or photograph appearing on MatchTide does not mean that the relevant owner has sponsored, approved or partnered with MatchTide.
4. Non-affiliation
Unless expressly stated, MatchTide is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by or officially connected to any league, federation, association, club, player, coach, referee, venue, broadcaster, bookmaker, sponsor, data provider or other football organisation.
Names and marks are used descriptively to identify the relevant football subject.
5. Accuracy and freshness
Football data is automated and can be delayed, incomplete, duplicated or incorrect. Provider update frequencies are indicative rather than guaranteed. A match may be postponed, abandoned, rescheduled, awarded or corrected after MatchTide first displays it.
Live status, score, events, line-ups, injuries, standings, venue details, player records, predictions and odds should not be treated as an official record.
Verify important information with the relevant official competition, club, venue, broadcaster, ticket provider or other authoritative source.
6. Predictions and odds
Predictions and probability indicators are derived, informational outputs. They do not guarantee a result and are not gambling or financial advice.
Odds-related data, where displayed, may be a provider snapshot and can change immediately. MatchTide does not accept bets, process stakes, hold gambling balances or guarantee bookmaker availability or prices.
MatchTide does not currently use bookmaker affiliate links or gambling calls to action. Any future betting, fantasy, broadcast or mass-media use requires a separate rights, regulatory, age, consent and provider review before activation.
7. Data corrections
If a score, fixture time, table, team, player, venue or other football field appears wrong, use the football-data correction form in the Support Centre. Include the page URL, the field you believe is wrong, the proposed correction and an authoritative source where available.
MatchTide may correct its own derived data, request a provider correction or display a temporary notice. A submitted correction is not guaranteed to be accepted.
8. Rights requests and asset suppression
A rightsholder or authorised representative can use the rights-request form or [email protected] to report a data, copyright, trade mark, image, personality, database, licensing or other rights concern. Open form
MatchTide can temporarily or permanently suppress a specific image, logo, asset URL, entity field, competition or public page while a request is reviewed. Suppression records are designed to prevent an importer from automatically restoring a restricted asset.
A request should identify the claimant, the right asserted, the affected URL or asset, the territory and legal basis, and evidence of ownership or authority to act.
9. Source and provenance records
MatchTide maintains technical source information for imported football records. Where manual or editorial assets are used, MatchTide aims to record the source, licence or permission status and any restriction.
Legacy provider assets may not yet have individual licence records. Their presence is not a statement that MatchTide owns them. Unresolved provenance is handled as an operational backlog and through the rights procedure.
10. No direct data resale
MatchTide is a football information service, not a raw API resale service. You may not systematically extract, bulk-download, resell or redistribute MatchTide or provider data.
11. Provider continuity
Provider coverage, subscriptions, endpoints and terms can change. MatchTide may remove or reduce a competition, asset family or feature where provider access changes or a rights restriction requires it.
