1. Who operates MatchTide
MatchTide is operated by Stanislav Sliuzar, a self-employed sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as MatchTide. In these Terms, “MatchTide”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to that operator.
2. What MatchTide provides
MatchTide is an independent football information and discovery service. It may provide fixtures, live match status, scores, results, standings, team and player information, competition pages, statistics, in-site alerts, comments, football predictions, odds-related information, News and Storylines.
MatchTide is not a bookmaker, gambling operator, ticket seller, broadcaster or streaming service. MatchTide is not an official service of any league, federation, club, player, venue, broadcaster, bookmaker or data provider unless a specific relationship is expressly stated.
3. Acceptance of these Terms
You may browse public pages without creating an account. By using MatchTide, you agree to follow the parts of these Terms that apply to public use.
To create or continue using an account, you must separately:
- confirm that you are 18 years of age or older;
- agree to the current version of these Terms; and
- acknowledge that you have read the current Privacy Policy.
Acceptance of the Privacy Policy is not requested as blanket consent to all processing. Optional choices, including full analytics, are managed separately.
4. Age requirement
MatchTide accounts, comments and other account-only community features are for adults aged 18 or over. People under 18 may browse public football information but must not create an account, post comments or submit personal information through account features.
We use an age self-declaration. We do not routinely request a date of birth, identity document, selfie or biometric age estimate. We may restrict or close an account if we reasonably believe that the account holder is under 18.
5. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and promptly update information that materially affects your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by a failure for which MatchTide is legally responsible.
You must notify MatchTide Support if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may require email verification, reauthentication or other proportionate checks before changing, exporting or deleting account data.
6. Follows, preferences and alerts
An account may allow you to follow teams or fixtures, save preferences, hide scores and receive in-site alerts. Unless MatchTide expressly introduces another delivery channel, alerts are displayed inside MatchTide and are not browser push, SMS or guaranteed real-time emergency notifications.
Alerts may be late, duplicated, incomplete or unavailable. Do not rely on them for betting, travel, safety, employment or any decision where delay could cause loss or harm.
7. Comments and other user content
Comments and replies are public. Do not post personal information that you do not want others to see.
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant MatchTide a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, translate where necessary for moderation or display, and make that content available through MatchTide for as long as reasonably required to operate the service, maintain discussion context, handle reports and comply with law.
This licence does not permit MatchTide to sell your comment as a standalone work.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing, discriminatory, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, privacy-invasive, sexually exploitative, spam, malware, impersonation, betting fraud or instructions for wrongdoing. The full rules are in the Community Guidelines.
We may moderate, restrict, label, remove or preserve content and may limit or suspend accounts. Automated systems may assist moderation. You may report content and appeal eligible moderation decisions through the Support Centre. Open form
8. Football data, scores and statistics
Football information may be supplied by third-party providers, including API-Football/API-Sports, and combined with MatchTide processing. Data may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, corrected later or wrong.
Kick-off times, match status, scores, line-ups, injuries, standings, player information, venue details, predictions and odds can change. MatchTide does not guarantee continuous availability, official status or complete accuracy.
You must verify important information with an official competition, club, venue, broadcaster, ticket provider or other authoritative source before acting on it.
The Football Data, Sources and Rights page explains sources, limitations, non-affiliation and rights procedures.
9. Predictions and odds-related information
Predictions, probabilities, form indicators and odds-related information are provided for general football information and entertainment. They are not financial advice, gambling advice, a promise of an outcome or an invitation to place a bet.
MatchTide does not accept stakes, hold gambling funds, place bets or guarantee winnings. If bookmaker information is ever displayed, it may change without notice and must not be treated as a live or guaranteed price.
You are responsible for complying with the law and age rules that apply where you live. Do not use MatchTide as the sole basis for gambling or financial decisions.
10. News, Storylines and automated content
News, Storylines, match-impact content, descriptions and translations may be prepared with automated systems, including artificial intelligence. Human review may occur but is not guaranteed for every publication. Automated content can be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.
The Editorial, AI and Corrections Policy explains our editorial identity, source handling, automated publication, higher-risk review controls and correction process.
11. Intellectual property and permitted use
The MatchTide name, original interface, original text, software and original graphics are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party football names, competition marks, club crests, player and coach images, venue images, flags and other assets remain the property of their respective owners.
You may use MatchTide for ordinary personal, non-commercial browsing. You must not:
- scrape, mirror, bulk-download or systematically extract MatchTide or provider data;
- resell or redistribute MatchTide data, feeds or account access;
- bypass rate limits, access controls or technical restrictions;
- use MatchTide to build a competing data feed or database;
- copy substantial parts of MatchTide editorial content; or
- use third-party marks or images in a way that implies endorsement.
Search engines and ordinary link previews may crawl public pages in accordance with our technical controls.
12. Third-party services and links
MatchTide may link to or display information from third parties. Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. MatchTide is not responsible for a third party’s availability, accuracy, security, prices, conduct or content.
13. Reports, corrections and rights requests
You can report incorrect football data, a comment, an editorial issue, a privacy concern, a security issue or an intellectual-property/rightsholder concern through the Support Centre. Formal copyright, trade mark, image-rights, licensing, defamation and other rights matters may also be sent to [email protected]. Open form
We may temporarily suppress content while a report is reviewed. A report does not guarantee removal. We may request evidence, identity or authority to act where proportionate.
14. Suspension and termination
We may restrict features, suspend or close an account where reasonably necessary to protect users, rights holders, providers, MatchTide or the public; investigate abuse; comply with law; enforce these Terms; or respond to provider or rights-holder restrictions.
Where appropriate, we will provide a reason and an appeal route. We may act without advance notice where delay could create legal, security or safety risk.
You may request account deletion through your account settings. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted, anonymised or retained.
15. Service availability and changes
MatchTide may change, pause or discontinue features, coverage, competitions, providers or account functions. We do not promise that every competition, fixture, asset, alert or article will remain available.
16. Disclaimers
MatchTide is provided on an “as available” basis. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatchTide does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, suitable for a particular purpose or identical to an official source.
17. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to that, MatchTide is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost betting stakes, missed travel, missed broadcasts, business interruption or loss caused by reliance on delayed or inaccurate football information where such loss was not reasonably foreseeable or was outside MatchTide’s reasonable control.
If you use MatchTide as a consumer, your statutory rights remain unaffected.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may publish a new version where the service, law, providers or risks change. Material changes may require account holders to review and accept the new Terms before continuing to use account-only features. Previous published versions remain recorded.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
