You may browse public football pages without an account. Do not create a MatchTide account, post comments or submit personal information through account-only features.
Do not share your name, email, phone number, home address, school, live location, passwords, ticket codes or another person’s private information in a comment or support message.
How age is handled
MatchTide asks account holders to confirm that they are 18 or older. This is a self-declaration, not guaranteed identity or age verification.
MatchTide does not routinely collect a date of birth, identity document, selfie or biometric age estimate for registration.
Suspected underage account
If MatchTide reasonably believes an account holder is under 18, it may restrict account-only features, request clarification, anonymise or remove public content where appropriate, and close the account.
Information for parents and guardians
A parent or guardian who believes a person under 18 has created an account or submitted personal information can use the privacy form in the Support Centre or email [email protected]. Open form
Provide enough information to identify the concern without sending unnecessary documents. MatchTide may need proportionate evidence of parental responsibility or authority before disclosing account information.
Public football content
MatchTide covers football and may contain public comments, match incidents, injuries, betting-related statistics or external links. Public browsing is not designed as a child-directed service and parental supervision may be appropriate.
Analytics
Younger visitors can turn analytics off through Privacy Choices. MatchTide does not enable advertising personalisation in Google Analytics.
