1. Publisher and editorial identity

The legal publisher is Stanislav Sliuzar, a self-employed sole trader in the United Kingdom, trading as MatchTide.

“MatchTide Editorial” is a public editorial identity and byline. It does not necessarily identify an individual human author.

2. Current and future publication methods

MatchTide may use automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to identify topics, select factual football records, collect and structure source material, draft, rewrite, translate, summarise, format, update and publish editorial content.

Human review may take place, but it is not guaranteed before every publication. Automated content can be incomplete, outdated, misleading or incorrect.

A technical capability being present does not mean it is currently active. MatchTide distinguishes active, paused and planned workflows internally.

3. Sources

Editorial material should be based on identifiable sources where technically available, including official football organisations, clubs, governing bodies, reputable publishers, direct statements and recorded football-data providers.

MatchTide aims to store source URLs, source publisher, publication date, access date and relevant rights or licence information for new editorial content.

A source link does not mean the source endorses MatchTide.

4. Originality and quotations

MatchTide must not reproduce a full third-party article or create a close substitute for it. Automated systems should synthesise information from multiple appropriate sources and write original text.

Short quotations may be used where lawful and necessary, with attribution. Quotations must not be fabricated or materially altered.

5. High-risk claims

Before publication, content containing higher-risk claims about an identifiable person should be routed for additional review where it involves:

  • criminal conduct or serious allegations;
  • death or serious injury;
  • health or medical status;
  • safeguarding or abuse;
  • legal disputes or disciplinary proceedings;
  • corruption, match fixing or betting misconduct;
  • private or leaked information; or
  • another claim likely to cause serious reputational or personal harm.

The review gate reduces risk but cannot guarantee that every issue is detected. If the required review is unavailable, the higher-risk item must remain unpublished or be limited to clearly attributed, verified facts.

6. Football-data-driven content

Match-impact text, match summaries, previews, tables and player or team descriptions may be generated from structured football data. Provider data can be wrong or corrected later. Generated content should not present an estimate as an official fact.

7. Predictions and odds

Predictions, probabilities and form indicators are analytical or automated estimates. They must be labelled as predictions, not results or guarantees.

MatchTide does not provide gambling advice. Odds-related information must identify that it can change and must not be paired with guaranteed-win claims, pressure tactics or undeclared affiliate promotion.

8. Images and visual assets

An editorial image should have a recorded source and rights basis. Suitable sources may include an authorised press asset, an appropriately licensed/public-domain source, an original MatchTide graphic or another documented permission.

A football provider image or logo is not automatically licensed for editorial illustration merely because it appears in an API response. Unverified or disputed assets may be suppressed.

9. AI disclosure

Where material is substantially generated or transformed by automated systems, MatchTide may disclose this at article or policy level. The absence of an article-level label does not mean that no automation was used.

MatchTide does not claim that every AI-generated article has been manually fact-checked.

10. Corrections and updates

A reader can report an editorial problem through the Support Centre or [email protected]. Open form

MatchTide may:

  • correct a factual error;
  • add clarification or source attribution;
  • update a developing story;
  • label automated or disputed content;
  • restrict or remove an image;
  • archive or unpublish material; or
  • leave the content unchanged with an explanation.

Material corrections should be recorded in revision history where proportionate. Quiet typographical or formatting fixes do not always require a public note.

11. Rights and privacy

Formal copyright, trade-mark, image-rights, defamation or other legal concerns should use the rights process or [email protected]. Privacy concerns should use [email protected].

12. Sponsorship, advertising and affiliates

MatchTide does not currently present News as sponsored or affiliate content. If advertising, sponsorship or affiliate relationships are introduced, relevant content and links must be clearly labelled and editorial control must not be misrepresented.

13. Test and design content

Test, fixture or design-preview articles must not appear in public queries, feeds or sitemaps. They should be clearly marked and kept in controlled non-public states.
