Ukraine head coach Nazarii Rusetskyi has selected 15 players for the main squad and named four reserves for the WAFF World Cup, which runs from 13 to 22 November in San Juan de los Lagos, Mexico.
The Ukrainian Association of Football says 12 players in the 19-man group are veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war; nine are in the main squad. The selection includes players from six amputee football clubs.
Ukraine will face Brazil, Japan and Germany in Group C. The team is due to hold a training camp in Lviv before travelling to Mexico.
